Embracing Unity: The Kia Oval Celebrates Pride

An extraordinary event unfolded this week at the Kia Oval, they proudly demonstrated their unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community. Aligned with London Pride weekend, the aim was to highlight cricket as an inclusive and welcoming game for all.

The display was also designed to raise awareness and support for LGBTHero, a national charity dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals. LGBTHero’s impactful work empowers LGBTQ+ people and improves their physical and mental well-being.

Throughout the weekend, the Kia Oval was transformed into a vibrant celebration of Pride. The iconic Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion radiated with a kaleidoscope of rainbow colours, adding flair to the occasion and symbolising the Kia Oval’s aim to foster a more welcoming and diverse cricketing community.
