SportsPro Live in association with Blackbook Motorsport at the Kia Oval
SportsPro Live’s annual event took place in London on the 25th and 26th of April, marking its special 10th-anniversary edition.
Over 1800 sports business professionals attended the event at the Kia Oval, which aimed to address the challenges faced by the industry in an ever-changing society. The event featured 90+ expert speakers who provided guidance, actionable insights, and best-in-class approaches to every department within sports organisations.
As the industry continues to evolve, SportsPro Live aims to inspire and connect professionals to stay ahead of the game and meet the changing needs of society and customers.
Our Giggabox team was crucial in handling event management and AV for SportsPro Live 2023. With weeks of preparation and hard work, the team ensured that this anniversary event ran smoothly from start to finish. Giggabox’s experience in event management and AV technology allowed us to create an immersive and engaging experience for the attendees, enhancing the impact of the expert speakers and panel discussions.
To support this we set up a SportsPro x Giggabox studio to film exclusive interviews and social media content for SportsPro Media.

Blackbook Motorsport also hosted an event on-site with a focus on the F1, which drew in prominent executives from the motorsport industry, with a guest appearance from the Giggabox racing car!
Amongst the numerous cars parked outside, one of the standout features of the event was the ‘chandelier’ that Giggabox built, complete with a set of screens that displayed sponsor content and wayfinding. As the night wore on, this space transformed into a bar, creating a unique atmosphere for attendees.
Inside the venue, there were huge LED screens situated in the Duchy, with a split screen setup that allowed for dynamic displays. Breakout spaces, including the Long Room, Alcock Room, Graham Thorpe Room and Presidents Lounge were also set up, with crew, staging, tech, and sets manned by Giggabox.
One of the noteworthy events of the event was the panel discussion featuring Wrexham FC, newly crowned Champions of the Vanarma National League 22/23, with Humphrey Ker, the Executive Director, and the Shaun Harvey the football advisor to the club’s famous owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds participating.
With the help of the Giggabox team, who worked tirelessly from 7 am to 7 pm each day, SportsPro Media and Blackbook Motorsport managed to create a truly memorable and engaging event.
